A longtime executive in the fuel and energy sector, Levon Termendzhyan leads several international companies, including Viscon International, SBK Holding, and Noil Energy Group. In addition to running his own companies, Levon Termendzhyan works closely with other global energy firms. He maintains especially close ties with global petroleum giant Valero Energy, an oil and ethanol company with more than 7,000 gas stations across the world.
Based in San Antonio, Texas, Valero Energy stands out as the largest independent oil refiner in the United States. With the majority of its 15 oil refineries and 11 ethanol plants located in the country, the company employs more than 10,000 workers globally.
Recently, Valero announced a major deal that will help the company gain a stronger foothold in the United Kingdom and northwest Europe. In February of 2018, Valero Energy subsidiary Valero Logistics UK signed an agreement to purchase a fuel storage facility in Wales from SemGroup. Strategically located on the Welsh west coast, the facility also sits near Valero’s Pembroke refinery.
One of the biggest facilities for petroleum products storage in the United Kingdom, the new Valero facility boasts a capacity of more than 8 billion barrels. Additionally, it is equipped to handle a range of fuels, giving Valero options as it moves forward with operations in the region.
